Recently, Chad, our Family Pastor, shared a story from a conversation that happened during an intentional time of encouragement and discipleship at Red Cedar Church.

During the conversation, someone was deeply moved simply because people took the time to speak life, encouragement, and truth into them. Later, their spouse shared something that stuck with us: “I think it’s because no one has ever said those words to them before.”

How can someone faithfully serve, care for others, and walk through life carrying so much responsibility — yet rarely feel intentionally seen or encouraged?

That moment became a reminder of why the mission of Red Cedar matters.

Full Life is not about perfection or pretending life is easy. It is about people encountering Jesus and discovering they are seen, known, loved, and called by God. It is about creating spaces where people are encouraged, strengthened, discipled, and reminded they are not alone.

As we approach the end of our fiscal year on May 31, we want to invite you into what God is doing through Red Cedar.

We are grateful to share that our 2026–2027 ministry budget was recently approved, and we are excited about the season ahead. If you have any questions or would like to learn more, several of the elders and I will be in the Family Room after each service and would love to talk more about that. 

At the same time, as we close out this ministry year, we are currently about $62,000 — roughly 3% — short of meeting this year’s ministry budget.

As we look ahead, we would love to invite those who call Red Cedar home to prayerfully consider helping us finish this year strong. Gifts given before May 31 will directly support ongoing ministry and help close this remaining gap as we step into the next season.
